Lauren Paul

Physiotherapist

I joined CNRS in 2026 after completing my Physiotherapy degree at the University of Queensland. I’m originally from Sri Lanka, but moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2010. I am excited to return to the Sunshine Coast and continue my passion for neurological physiotherapy here at CNRS.

I have always had a keen interest in anything relating to the brain. Learning about the brain through my anatomy and neuro physiotherapy courses introduced me to how complex and intricate the brain is and how I can apply these principles in a practical setting.

Clinically, my placements gave me valuable experience working with both paediatric and adult neurological populations. I feel passionately about providing rehabilitation that is individualised, while also being fun and engaging. I really enjoyed working with clients, their families and other health professionals to provide holistic care. One of my favourite aspects of neuro is creating meaningful goals and celebrating the small wins along the way that contribute to achieving bigger goals.

Outside of work I enjoy watching movies, especially going to the cinema and keeping up with new releases. I also enjoy beach trips, film photography, sewing/crafts, NRL and spending time with my friends and family.
