What our clients are saying about us…
Been seeing Richard and Tiffany for Physiotherapy and Allied Health Assistant services. They’ve been great to work with and would highly recommend them.
Excellent services, informative and professional. Richard and his team bring a wide and in-depth range of knowledge which are proven and practical. Would highly recommend especially for disability physiotherapy.

The staff are very knowledgeable, caring and patient. We started doing therapy at home around 3 years ago and I have built my confidence enough to now attend the gym. I have come a long way with my fitness and physical ability and am now able to walk a much longer distance than when I first started. I would highly recommend the staff of Community Neuro Rehab Service for Physio, Exercise Physiology and OT needs.

Professional friendly staff to have in your home. Who are all very highly knowledgeable of their profession and always explain everything well to you and above all are very caring people.

Richard and his team have been supporting me and my family (daughter and son too) with both Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology services. I am so grateful that Richard comes to my home to provide physiotherapy as I feel I get a lot more long-term benefit. Thank you, Richard 🐿

My client sees Richard on a fortnightly basis and has been so accommodating and kind to my client. There have been lots of positive changes since he’s been seeing Richard in his physical health but also his confidence and overall well-being. Definitely recommend!

I highly recommend the Community Neuro Rehab services. We have been very happy with the service this company has provided. The girls are friendly, cooperative and compassionate to my Mother’s needs. The time and effort they have put in to helping my Mother to get her balance back plus more has been excellent, and the fruits of their efforts are showing.

I found Community Neuro Rehab after scouring quite a few physiotherapists. Having PLS (MND) it’s hard to find the right people. Richard has been brilliant. Not only very knowledgeable but also flexible and understanding with my own changes and needs. I also feel my needs are always made paramount, yet are guided and very instructive. Probably the best decision on support I have made since being diagnosed. Thanks C.N.R.S.

CNRS has been incredibly supportive of my needs and Richard and his team have assisted in my recovery from the ABI I had many years ago. Working as part of his multidisciplinary team streamlined my services and I am so grateful. Thank you
I was diagnosed with MS in 2019 and I have been working with Richard since early 2020. I have gone from barely walking 100 mtr, to climbing mountains. Richard’s extensive knowledge, coupled with his genuine need to help others and help them achieve their goals makes him the ideal neuro/physio therapist. It’s a rare thing to find a genuine and compassionate person who truly wants the best for you. Anyone with a disability knows how invaluable it is to be surrounded by the right team of allied health. Richard has gathered together the very best in their respective fields offering a wide range of expertise all under the one banner. The communication between his colleagues in their various fields ensures you will always have the best of care no matter where your health or recovery takes you.

Writing on behalf of an NDIS participant Greg. Jordan is incredibly easy-going, very professional and experienced in his field. I have made improvements in my physical fitness with increasing strength in my lower and upper body making everyday tasks easier. Jordan is patient, kind and understanding.

I have worked alongside this team for a few years and am extremely impressed with the diligence, consideration, and customer service the team provides. CNRS offers a range of therapies including physiotherapy, exercise physiology, and allied health assistance. The team is honest, fair, and genuinely driven by the best interests of their clients. I have worked in disability support, and a few of my clients have also been clients of CNRS, and the results have been great. Extremely impressed with this team’s dedication to direct client care, and would 100% recommend to anyone seeking a genuine therapy experience.

I highly recommend Community Neuro Rehab service. Richard Deutsch and his team do amazing work. My husband has dementia and recently had a stroke. He has worked with Richard, another physio, and an OT. I am very grateful for their expertise.

My 2nd time in water rehab with Lauren .EP. from Community Neuro rehab. A lovely young lady with a lot of patience and kindness for my confidence building. Today’s swim was at Caloundra pool, and they state it’s 32 degrees along entering these old lost muscles weren’t that warm but Lauren chatted with me not even noticing the chill becoming nice and warm. As my carer counted we walked the pool 4 × up and down that’s 8 lengths, so that was great especially after no exercise for about two years now.

My 9-year-old daughter has been doing physio with Lucy for her Cerebral Palsy. Miss 9 is also autistic with a PDA profile, meaning we can have significant challenges around engaging with therapy. Lucy has been visiting us at home now for several months, and Miss 9 has responded well both to Lucy personally and to in-home therapy. She looks forward to Lucy’s visits. Lucy keeps things fun, active, and is always encouraging Miss 9 to try her best. She has the ability to challenge Miss 9 to push herself to succeed, which she responds well to. I highly recommend!

I have been working with Richard for quite some time now and also started working with Jess; they are both really great. The exercise plans are good, and I feel great after I’ve seen them.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with the crew at CNRS, and they are amazing. I had 2 strokes when I was 16 years old, I have now got dystonia down my right side due to this, they have helped me learn ways to calm it down and make my brain cooperate more. I also have a much better understanding of my body because of them 🙏🙏🙏 Thank you so much to everyone at CNRS, especially Rich 🙏🙏🙏

Conditions our Sunshine Coast Exercise Physiologists can help with
Our compassionate and skilled exercise physiologists work with people on the Sunshine Coast and Gympie who have:
What is exercise physiology?
Exercise physiology is based on extensive research that shows being active has a powerful impact on physical and mental wellbeing. Exercise physiologists are university-qualified allied health professionals. They design and deliver safe, individualised exercise programs to help promote good health and manage disease and disability.
Exercise physiologists work in various health and fitness fields. At Community NeuroRehab Service , our exercise physiology professionals concentrate on neurological care. We only see people with conditions of the brain and nervous system, which helps us deliver the latest research-backed programs. Our EPs are all registered with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA). This means they have completed at least three years of full-time university education in the exercise and sports science field at a recognised institution.
Your exercise physiology journey with us
At CNRS, we don’t just ‘treat’ people, we immerse ourselves in your world. We’ll work with you and your friends, family and supports to help you achieve your goals and vision for life. Our aim is your aim – wherever that may take us.
Just as we become part of your community, we want you to feel a part of the CNRS community. Here’s what exercise physiology with CNRS will look like.
Getting to know each other
During your first visit with your Sunshine Coast physio, they’ll take the time to get to know you. They will ask you about your health, movement concerns and goals. They will do some assessments to see how you’re functioning. Your family and support people are welcome to be part of each visit.
Building a roadmap for success
We’ll work with you to create a tailored plan for achieving your goals. This might involve weekly, fortnightly or monthly therapy sessions, ramped up or down as needed. You can do therapy at the clinic, pool, gym, beach or home – wherever works best for you. We’ll be right alongside you as you tackle your goals.
Your goal is our purpose
Our Neuro physios will do everything they can to help you do the things you dream about.
Want to get back on your boat or onto the beach? Or to get on and off the floor to play with your grandkids?
From kayaking and camping to rolling easier in bed; you name it, we’ll work on it.
